2017 SXSW Gaming Awards Winners Announced

2017 Video Game of the Year Award

The fourth-annual SXSW Gaming Awards sponsored by IGN and Imaginary Forces, and hosted by WWE® Superstar Xavier Woods® and Twitch icon OMGitsfirefoxx, closed out the 2017 SXSW Gaming Conference & Festival to thunderous applause. With a night full of surprises, we’re proud to unveil who our final 23 award winners were for this year’s main event.

Award winner highlights for the 2017 SXSW Gaming Awards included Video Game of the Year winner Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (Sony Computer Entertainment / Naughty Dog); Mobile Game of the Year winner Pokémon GO (Niantic); Esports Game of the Year winner Overwatch (Blizzard Entertainment); Tabletop Game of the Year winner Arkham Horror: The Card Game (Fantasy Flight Games); Trending Game of the Year winner Overwatch (Blizzard Entertainment); and Fan Creation of the Year winner Brutal Doom 64 (Sergeant_Mark_IV).
