2018 PanelPicker Deadline: Weekend Extension

Good news! We have extended the 2019 PanelPicker® entry period through the weekend. Take advantage of this extension and get your session proposals in before the final deadline on Sunday, July 22 11:59pm PT. Use this time for last-minute tweaks to your speaking proposals for the 2019 SXSW Gaming Festival.

PanelPicker is the official SXSW user-generated session proposal platform developed to encourage the community to pitch their proposals for our daytime conference programming. This easy, two-step online process allows the SXSW community to have a voice in what creative and thought-provoking programming is scheduled at the SXSW Conference, SXSW EDU, and SXSW Gaming.

How It Works

To begin, simply create a new user account or login at panelpicker.sxsw.com. If you created a general SXSW account in 2013 or later, you will be able to use the same login and password for PanelPicker. Each individual account may enter only one (1) proposal for the SXSW Conference.

After the open entry period has passed, the community will be called upon to vote on which proposals they’d like to see at SXSW Gaming 2019. From there, SXSW Gaming staff and advisory board members review each proposal to make final selections for the 2019 event. The weighted total is comprised of public (30%), advisory board (40%), and staff (30%) votes.
