SXSW Gaming is all about the community and we value its input and involvement every step of the way in planning for SXSW Gaming each year. To kick off the road to SXSW Gaming 2019, we’re excited to announce that the SXSW PanelPicker® is up and running!

The PanelPicker® was developed to encourage the SXSW Gaming community to enter speaking proposals and have significant influence in daytime programming. The SXSW Gaming community will be able to browse proposals after the entry period has ended, leave comments and vote on what sessions they’d like to see at the March event.

Entering an idea in the PanelPicker® is the first step in your quest to speak at SXSW Gaming, so if you envision yourself taking the stage in at Gaming in March, make sure to enter your idea before the PanelPicker closes for entries on July 20.

We’re looking for the best ideas on sessions covering future-focused topics in esports, game design and development, indie game creation, emerging technology in games, and more, so start formulating your session proposal today.

In order to send us your session idea, head over to and log in or create an account. From there, click on the button to create a new SXSW proposal. Fill out the application and in the Track field, be sure to select either Esports Industry, Game Culture, Game Design & Development or Game Marketing & Community in the Gaming section of the drop-down menu. Continue to fill out the rest of the form until you get to the end. You haven’t completed submitted your idea until you hit the “Enter Proposal” button.

Remember, if you want to speak at SXSW Gaming next March, then entering an idea through the PanelPicker® is your best option. We’ll be taking proposals until Friday, July 20, so starting putting your game-changing session together today!
