After a very competitive two rounds of pitches which featured 12 incredibly unique independent games, One Hand Clapping took home the win in the 2019 SXSW Gaming Pitch Competition.

One Hand Capping is a 2D platformer that invites you to sing into your microphone to solve musical puzzles and change the world around you. Wander through vibrant soundscapes. Master melody, rhythm, and harmony. Sing along with the whimsical hermit. Rejoice in the freedom to express yourself, harnessing the power of both your singing voice and the voice within you.

The SXSW Gaming Pitch Competition offered gaming fans and professionals a unique chance to get a glimpse of the games that will soon take the industry by storm. The competition format was two part with the first round pitches having taken place before a private panel of judges and the finals being showcased on the SXSW Discovery Stage for a live audience.

Other finalists included titles Liberated, Small Squadron, and Rustler.

The SXSW Gaming Pitch Competition Finals featured guest judges Kiki Wolfkill (343 Industries), Raphael Colantonio (Independent), and Nigel Lowrie (Devolver Digital).
