Storied Composer Inon Zur to Reveal Latest Music Video at the 2019 SXSW Gaming Awards!

SXSW Gaming Awards Entertainment Act Inon Zur

The SXSW Gaming Awards prides itself on bringing the community together to honor not only the nominees but the teams behind them who’ve dedicated their lives to providing unique experiences for each and every one of us. This year, we will not only acknowledge the best of 2018 but reveal what’s on the horizon.

During our ceremony, Award-winning film, TV and video game composer Inon Zur (‘Fallout‘ series, ‘Dragon Age‘ series, ‘Prince of Persia‘ series) will premiere the music video for his newest track “Into the Storm” – his Sony Music Masterworks debut and the lead track from his forthcoming album of video game-inspired works.

Featuring renowned cellist Tina Guo and violinist Caroline Campbell, Zur’s visual piece builds a world reminiscent of his extraordinary works composed for classic series like Dragon Age, and we’re excited to share it with each of you next Saturday night.

In response to his first major label release, Zur says “I’m so happy to share with fans the first track from my forthcoming album, Into The Storm, featuring the amazing soloists Tina Guo and Caroline Campbell. The song really comes alive with their passionate performances along with the sweeping and powerful City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.”

Classically trained with a flair for powerful, melodic orchestral writing, Inon Zur’s rich portfolio spans across film, television and video games. Making a name for himself within the world of epic action/adventure games, Zur’s scoring work for Bethesda Games Studios have amassed millions of fans, two BAFTA Award nominations and nods from The PlayStation Awards, The Game Awards and more. Zur’s lengthy catalog of scores also includes multiple entries in the Prince of Persia and Dragon Age series. Zur’s music has been performed in concerts across the globe by world-class orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Zur himself has collaborated with international recording artists including Florence + The Machine and Idan Raichel.
